Ambrai Ghat or
Manjhi Ghat is a main ghat situated near the waterfront of Lake Pichola in
Udaipur. It is situated opposite to the Gangaur Ghat, near the Jagdish Chowk
area. Ambrai Ghat is a popular for its lake-side location surrounded by many
popular hotels including the Ambrai restaurant. It is also popular for the
picturesque view of City Palace, Udaipur, and surrounding lakes. One can go
around dusk to see the beauty of Udaipur and hang out and one of the
restaurants with a view. Ambrai Ghat is a jewel of a place in Udaipur. Because
of the high-speed wind at this prime location, you can easily spot kids flying
kites on the Ambrai Ghat over the Lake. It is a must visit at night, when the
City Palace lights up as one can see its reflection in Lake Pichola. The view

2 GANGAUR GHAT

Gangaur Ghat is
a main ghat situated near the waterfront of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. It is
situated near the Jagdish Chowk area. It is known for Bagore-ki-Haveli, a
popular tourist destination of the city. Gangaur Ghat is a prime location of
Udaipur that is situated in the heart of the city; streaming through the old
veins of the old city area. Near the Ghat resides Bagore Ki Haveli that holds a
historic significance and must be visited for experiencing the culture of
Rajasthan. Gangaur Ghat serves itself for various purposes including the
convenience of locals, serenity to tourists and a hanging spot to the young
blood of Udaipur. It is a treat location for all the photo capturing maniacs,
as one can capture the beauty of old city in one frame. Also the sunset and
sunrise from the Ghat is heavenly. There is no proper seating established on
the Ghat, but one can make themselves comfortable on the stairs installed on
the Ghat that take you to the water. Gangaur Ghat received its name from the
famous festival of Mewar: Gangaur Festival. Take a two-wheeler or walk to
access the location, as the roads in the old city are a bit congested and can
make your four-wheeler create a hassle on the scene. Gangaur Ghat is a not so
famous among the other Ghats in Udaipur. It offers a very scenic view. This
